Sodium Acetate Anhydrous (CH3COONa)
Sodium Acetate Anhydrous (E262) is used as a preservative in processed foods, as a flavouring agent in conjunction with Sodium Diacetate and as a pH control agent where it is used as a buffer in controlling the pH during various stages of processing as well as in finished goods.

Kemira's Sodium Acetate Anhydrous is available as a white powder or agglomerate. Both versions are chemically identical, and differ only in physical form.

Kemira's Sodium Acetate Anhydrous is an AIB approved and Kosher certified product which conforms to the U.S. Food Chemical Codex V.
